Sports Day 2017

All the children had a great time taking part in team games and class races! They were supported by parents, friends and family and the sun mostly stayed out - hooray!

Responsible P7s

Eco Leaders of the School!

Paul, Zoe and Madison did a litter pick during lunch time one day this week. They were shocked at the amount of litter they found in our school grounds but pleased they were able to do their part to help! Hopefully this sends a strong message to all other pupils about how important it is to look after our school. 

Outdoor Fun for the P7s!

Primary 7 enjoyed a 4 day trip to Auchengillen Outdoor Education Centre. They went with the Primary 7 pupils of St Mary's and have expressed how much they enjoyed this trip. They were given the opportunity to take part in lots of fun activities such as abseiling, paradropping and canoeing!

Fairtrade Enterprise

As part of their Fairtrade Enterprise, P5/6/7 organised a coffee afternoon break. They wrote letters to local supermarkets asking for donations to help make their event a success. Paul, Heather, Cayden and Rhiannon visited one of the local stores with Mr Webster to collect some of the donations.

Public Speaking 2017

Heather, Zoe and Isabella represented St Martin's in this year's Public Speaking competition at the Council Chambers. The girls spoke clearly, eloquently and with impressive confidence when delivering their speech. They did incredibly well and enjoyed the experience. Well done girls!

Scottish Parliament Lesson

P5/6/7 enjoyed a visit from the Labour Outreach team as part of their Scottish Parliament topic.
They were able to take part in debates using electronic voting pads!
